ぐちゃぐちゃ / Gucha Gucha is my side project/shop that I run with my life and creative partner, Maksim Barkhatov. We collaborated on a collection with local Chicago, jeweler and art curator, The Vintage Royalty. Inspired by the Past. Made for the Future.
Gucha Gucha and The Vintage Royalty joined forces for their first-ever collaboration of a glamorous remix of aesthetics and nostalgia centered around a classic checker pattern. We look to our pasts to create a feeling of reminiscence that's bold enough to exist in the future.
With 3 pairs of earrings, Past かこ, Present げんざい, Future みらい, and decade-defining wall art reinterpretations, we present Checker / Ichimatsu Moyou (市松模様).
