The Instant Savings Book (ISB) at Sam's Club is a monthly Members catalog that showcases new and discount offers on club products and services. As Senior Art Director at Dentsu Creative, I work on original photography and layout design for 4-5 issues per year.
The Instant Savings Book (ISB) at Sam's Club is a monthly Members catalog that showcases new and discount offers on club products and services. As Senior Art Director at Dentsu Creative, I work on original photography and layout design for 4-5 issues per year.
The process involves planning each issue, from crafting stories with the Content Strategist around featured products to developing a pagination flat plan. The art directors then curate mood boards to visualize each issue’s themes and begin concepting original photography using digital sketches. After client approval, we start the pre-pro process for photoshoot to set up the crews (photographers, food stylists, prop stylists, wardrobe/make up, etc.).
