The corporate ladder for a woman of color simply isn't a straight one, nor even the same path for another WOC. It is a path that twists, turns upside down, and can even go in circles at certain steps. We created a system to focus on movement, or lack of movement, that your path can have. Acknowledging not having complete control over your path but seeing yourself in a larger picture can help find and facilitate different paths of recalibration until you reach the goal of taking center stage, with your advocacy and audience ready to hear you.
